CRISIS SUPPORT LINE
The entire community is deeply saddened by this weekend’s tragedy. Our hearts are with the victims, their families and loved ones. A crisis or traumatic event can trigger overwhelming emotional responses. Standing with communities in crisis and helping them deal with grief and loss is one of the most meaningful and important things we can do.
The City of Miramichi’s Employee and Family Assistance Program service provider, Morneau Shepell, has opened a bilingual crisis support line available to anyone in need of emotional support in relation to this tragedy. This resource will provide crisis counselling support and/or a referral to community resources and is available to all members of our community free of charge.
The crisis line can be reached at: 1.844.751.2133.
Remember that the immediate and confidential EFAP services are accessible 24/7/365.
