Lloyd Brown Memorial Garden Contest

Rules and Regulations

• Entrant must be located in City of Miramichi.
• Photos can be submitted electronically, dropped off at City Hall or sent by mail.
• Maximum of three photos per entry.
• Photos must be coloured.
• Photos must be of your own Garden.
• Photos must be legible and clear for judging.
• Name, address, phone number and brief description accompany photo.
• Photos must be submitted before deadline (Friday August 3rd, 2007)
• Contestants must agree to have photos and name published.
• Photo entries will not be returned and become property of Miramichi In Bloom.
• Judges will visit top entries to determine finalists and winners.
• Finalists will be entered in the National Communities in Bloom Residential In-Ground and Residential Container Gardening Contest.

Helpful tips for photos

• The best time of day to take photos is in the morning or evening.
• Keep the sun at your back when taking photos.
• Photos on overcast day prevent unwanted shadowing.
• Take photos on different days.
• Submitting before and after photos is a good idea.
