Trees are a living memorial that provide beauty and a lasting tribute to a loved one. The purpose of this program is to offer the public an opportunity to donate a tree as a memorial to a loved one.

The City of Miramichi in consultation with the Communities in Bloom Committee have designated areas for the planting of Memorial Trees within parks and on other public lands throughout the city.

The donor may choose the area where they would like their memorial tree planted. The donor is responsible for the costs of the purchase of the tree, sign marker and donation label.

The City of Miramichi will plant the memorial tree in the specified area. The city is responsible for the maintenance of the tree.
