Anti Litter Campaign

In partnership with and organized by the City of Miramichi, this campaign heightens awareness about the cleanliness of our city and encourages everyone to "tidy up".

Special mentions are Tim Hortons, School District 16, Downtown Business Districts, Rotary Clubs, as well as all our conscientious citizens that help keep our city clean.

Memorial Tree Planting Program

Trees are a living memorial that provide beauty and a lasting tribute to a loved one. The purpose of this program is to offer the public an opportunity to donate a tree as a memorial to a loved one.

England's Hollow

Communities in Bloom's proposed projected spearheaded by our community partner NBCC Miramichi Environmental Technology department. The project plans are to re-plant and restructure this community park enhancing the springs and waterways.

Heritage Garden

French Fort Cove Eco Centre in partnership with Walmart has made a donation to Communities in Bloom to assist in the development of a Heritage Garden within the city honoring and sharing some of the original plants found in our community and as catalogued in French Fort Cove's Flora and Fauna.

Plant a Row/Grow a Row

Our community partner Envirem generously donates bags of compost and black earth to gardeners who pledge to plant a row in their garden to donate to the food bank in the fall. In our second year, the pledges for this program have doubled!
