Provincial Firefighers Workshops

The annual Provincial Firefighters Workshops were held in Miramichi September 15 and 16, 2006.  The major sponsors were NBCC-Miramichi, City of Miramichi, Environment & Local Government, Office of the Fire Marshall, NB Association of Fire Chief's and the Maritime FIre Chief's Association.  The workshop was open to all firefighters from throughout the province, being career of volunteer.  Approximately 300 firefighters including instructors and support staff received training in such topics as School Bus Extrication, Advanced SCBA, Flashover, Boat Rescue, Ventilation and Rapid Intervention Team.
