Community & Support Services Division
Communications Centre - E 9-1-1
Operators provide 24-7 bilingual service. They receive calls for service and dispatch police, fire and ambulance as well as carry out other administrative and internal duties for the Police Force. Our services are contracted out to other communities for fire dispatch. At present our services include Sunny Corner, Blackville, and
Doaktown, Upper Miramichi Fire Dept. Boistown, Renous/Quarryville and City of
Miramichi Fire Department.
Training & Media NCO
A full-time sergeant is responsible for coordinating the training and development of all personnel, media, and community relations and is also responsible for our stores and property/exhibits (evidence).
Community Services Section
A full time constable is assigned with the responsibility of the community services officer. This person is to implement and maintain community and crime prevention programs for the community, which includes business and school visitations.
