Message from the Chief
The Miramichi Police Force is a full-service police agency that is committed
to protecting and serving our Community. As an organization, it is with honour,
we serve the people of the Miramichi. The principles of Community Police
are the cornerstones of our professional Police Service.
The Miramichi Police Force members and staff have adopted a progressive
and proactive approach to serving our Community. As an organization, we lead
in the delivery of ethical, efficient, and cost effective policing services
to the City of Miramichi.
We have strengthened our ties to our community organization and agencies
through the establishment of partnerships with many stakeholders that focus
on issues regarding youth, senior citizens, and members of the general public.
We have led in the development of unique leading edge community support programs
such as police and defibrillation, Community Police, the Police Resource
Integrated System of Management, Safely Home (the new Alzheimer’s Wandering
Registry), and our Remembrance Protocol for fallen police officers.
The Miramichi Police Force is proud of our Provincial leading accomplishments
in our service to the City of Miramichi. We are proud of our people and proud
of our service record in making the City of Miramichi a safe and inviting
place of residence and business for all people of the Miramichi.
