Patrol Division Vehicle Fleet

The Miramichi Police Force uses the following vehicles to patrol the city of Miramichi.

2008 Dogde Charger

This vehicle is used by the patrol section supervisor. It is equipped with cameras and crime scene examination gear which is delivered to the officers in the field when required.

Night photo shows the reflective markings, which increases visibilty at night.

2009 Chev Impala

The Miramichi Police Force is changing it's vehicle fleet colours to a black and white format.  This 2009 Chev Impala bears the new colours as well as a new graphic design.  This vehicle is equipped with front and rear radar for speed enforcement and front and rear video camera equipment.

2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This 2009 Jeep is equipped for transporting K-9 "Chico" and his handler during their scheduled work duties.  Chico and his handler are one of the two Miramichi Police Force K-9 teams.

All Terrain Vehicles

Miramichi Police Force has two Yamaha all terrain vehicles which are used for enforcement duties on the City of Miramichi’s vast walking and hiking trail system. They are also used for search and rescue.

Bicycles

Bicycles are used to access the many bike paths within the City. MPF Bicycles are also used for patrolling summer events.
