How does the City dispose of garbage

The City provides residential garbage collection for all households within the municipality. The collection service is intended for regular household garbage only and is not intended for construction waste, hazardous materials, etc. Garbage collection is carried out once a week in each area of the City.

The garbage collected is transported to and disposed of at the Red Pine Solid Waste Disposal site in Allardville, N.B. Collection begins early each day and residents are asked to have all refuse at the curb by 6:00 am on collection day. The schedule for garbage collection is as follows:
