NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING CITY OFMIRAMICHI The City of Miramichi intends to consider an amendment to By-Law No. 91 entitled "City of Miramichi Zoning By-Law". The purpose of the proposed amendment is to rezone property, described as southerly 5.07 hectares of PID# 40203929 (north side of St. Thomas Street), from "Commercial Recreation (CR)" to "Community Planning Act Section 39 Specific Proposal- General Commercial (GC)" to allow an office development. Interested parties may inspect the proposed by-law at the Office of the Clerk in City Hall, 141 Henry Street, Miramichi, NB, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on business days. Objections to the proposed by-law, which are presented in writing, shall be considered at a public hearing to be held at City Hall, 141 Henry Street, on October 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to support or oppose those objections may do so at that time and place. CITY OF MIRAMICHI

NOTICE
DUMP TRUCK OWNERS

The City of Miramichi invites owners of dump trucks to register their vehicles with the City Clerk's Department, 2nd Floor, 141 Henry Street, for the purpose of hauling snow for the period of November 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013. All truck(s) must be equipped with a deflector board on the left side of box (driver's side) running the length of box and at least 18 inches high. Tandem rate is $50.00/hour and tractor- trailer rate is $62.00/hour.

Owners wishing to register must provide satisfactory proof of ownership and proof of insurance coverage, minimum $2,000,000.00 liability, at time of registration. Registrations that expire within this period (November 1, 2012 to April 30, 2013) must be renewed and copies given to the Clerk's Department immediately.

Deadline for registration is 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012.
