Summer Student Employment Opportunities
The City of Miramichi is now accepting applications for summer employment from students.
The following summer employment opportunities are available:
Economic & Tourism Development Summer Intern (written and oral competence in English and oral competence in French is essential)
Day Camp Leaders
Recreation Maintenance
Engineering
Clerical
Boat Rental Attendants
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be enrolled full time in high school, community college or university
Continuing your studies in the 2026-2027 academic year
You cannot apply if you already have graduated from a university or have a degree
Only 1 family member per household can work with the City of Miramichi per summer.
Your application should include:
Your Resume
Roles you are applying for in order of preference
Proof you were attending school in 2025-2026 full time
Verification of enrollment for 2026/2027 Academic Year (Letter from Registrar’s office indicating)
