The City of Miramichi requests the assistance of its residents in the Christmas tree cleanup. Residents are asked to bring their tree to one of the location lissted prior to January 14th, 2026.

Due to garbage and recycling pickup falling on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, Fero has advised there will be changes to garbage and recycling pick ups.

Miramichi City Hall and other city administrative offices will be close on Wednesday, December 24th at 12 p.m. and will reopen on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

The Department of Community Wellness and Recreation is requesting the public keep the no parking zones at the Miramichi Civic Centre clear at all times.
