Developed by the Lifesaving Society, Swim for Life offers a structured and progressive approach to swimming education, ensuring that participants of all ages and abilities develop essential water safety skills and stroke techniques.

Our program is designed to accommodate swimmers at every level, from beginners to advanced. Before enrolling in lessons, we recommend reviewing the prerequisites for each level to ensure the best possible experience for you or your child. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your strokes, our certified instructors are here to support your aquatic journey every step of the way.

INSTRUCTIONAL SWIM REGISTRATION

Online registration for our Spring session will go live beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at:  app.univerusrec.com/miramichirecreationpub for those wishing to pay by credit card.

On the same date, walk-in registration will be held from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:00 p.m.) at the Recreation Office at 94 General Manson Way for those who wish to pay by cash or debit card.

Anyone wishing to participate in the City of Miramichi Community Wellness & Recreation Department Instructional Swim Program must complete a user profile before the advertised registration date. Please visit the registration website below to view the classes offered and to complete your profile by following the instructions located on the site.
