Miramichi Valley High School (MVHS) Pool
The pool was built and financed in 1978 by the Town of Newcastle. It is now operated under a joint-use agreement between the Anglophone North School District and the City of Miramichi. The MVHS swimming pool is located on McKenna Avenue at Miramichi Valley High School. The pool is open from September to May. Click here for directions

Golden Hawk Pool
Indoor swimming pool operated by the City of Miramichi beginning in the Fall of 1999. The Golden Hawk Pool is located in the Golden Hawk Recreation Complex on Pollard Ave at the former CFB Chatham. The pool is operated from September to May. Click here for directions

OUTDOOR POOLS

The operational season of our outdoor pools is late June to late August.

Chatham Outdoor Pool
Centrally located in Chatham, this pool was constructed in the 1970’s and measures 82′ x 40′ with a depth of 3′ gradually sloping to 10′. The Chatham Outdoor Pool was given a new heating system in 2005. The pool is located on Henderson Street. The pool is operated from June to August. Click here for directions.

Kinsmen Outdoor Pool
The Kinsmen outdoor swimming pool was constructed in 1967 and upgraded in 1980 in partnership with the Newcastle Kinsmen Club. This pool measures 80′ x 40′ with a gradual slope from 3′ to 10′. In 2005 the Kinsmen Pool was given a face-lift with new decking and a new heating system. The Pool is located on Beaumont Ave. The pool is operated from June to August. Click here for directions.
