Active Transportation South Spine – Water Street

The City of Miramichi Engineering Department will begin work on Water Street as part of the Active Transportation South Spine.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, portions of Water Street between Park Drive and Mirview Drive will be periodically reduced to a single lane in order to facilitate work taking place on the shoulder of the road.

The work is anticipated to last five (5) weeks and motorists are asked to drive with caution and use alternative routes where possible.
