We make memories for all experience levels.
PADDLES UP! Navigate our voyageur canoe back in time to Beaubear’s Island. There you will meet costumed guides who will tell the tales of the Acadians that took refuge and of the shipbuilding that took place on the island. You can book a canoe trip with one of the region’s experienced outfitters or rent a stand up paddle board to help with your craving for adventure.
DRIFT AWAY! There’s no better way to experience all that is Miramichi than by spending a day on the river. Miramichi River Boat Tours offers daily a 90 minute cruise aboard the double-decker Max Aitken. The colourful Acadian captain, Azade Haché, will share stories of the past as you enjoy the view. For a fun and relaxing family activity, rent a tube and float along our amazing river.
DIG IT! At Metepenagiag Heritage Park, experience the ancient Mi’kmaq culture and view archaeological finds dating back over 3000 years. Speaking of sand, Escuminac Beach offers sun, sand and surf along the Miramichi Bay. There you can make a one of a kind craft from treasures found while beachcombing or building a giant castle.
