Notice of Public Hearing- PID 40191884 (East of Walsh Avenue at King Street and Walsh Avenue)
The City of Miramichi intends to consider amendments to its Municipal Plan, being By-Law No. 109 entitled “City of Miramichi Municipal Plan By-Law” and By-Law No. 110 entitled “City of Miramichi Zoning By-Law.
The purpose of the proposed amendment is to permit a change in land use designation from “Industrial” to “Residential” for the property described as PID 40191884, located east of Walsh Avenue at King Street and Walsh Avenue, Miramichi.
The Council will proceed with a Public Hearing of the proposed amendment on, September 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Kin Centre, 100 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi, NB.
Interested parties may inspect the proposed by-law online at the City’s website www.miramichi.org by searching “Proposed By-Laws”, or by appointment (24-hour notice) at the City Hall during regular operating hours.

Objections to the proposed by-law, which are presented in writing, shall be considered at a public hearing to be held at City Hall, 141 Henry Street, on July 29, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to support or oppose those objections may do so at that time and place.
