Notice of change for Christmas holidays garbage and recycle pick up

Due to garbage and recycling pickup falling on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, Fero has advised the following changes will be made:

Tuesday, December 23rd - Newcastle recycling scheduled for Wednesday, December 24th will be moved to Tuesday, December 23rd.

Wednesday, December 24th - no changes to Loggieville pick up.
Garbage pick up scheduled for Thursday, December 25th, 2025 in Nelson and Chatham Head will be picked up on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025.

Thursday, December 25th - no collections of garbage or recycling.

Friday, December 26th - no collections. The recycling pick up for Douglastown will be done on Monday, December 29th.

Monday, December 29th - recycling pick up in Douglastown and Chatham.

Thursday, January 1st - no collections of garbage or recycling.

Friday, January 2nd - recycling in Nelson and Chatham Head will be picked up as well as garbage in Douglastown.

Please have all bins and bags at the curbside by 6:30 a.m on collection day.

Unless listed, all other garbage and recycle schedules will remain the same.
