The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. and departs from the former Harkins School property and heading south on Newcastle Boulevard. From there, it turns right onto Pleasant Street and wraps up at the east end of the Miramichi Mall parking lot.
It is also possible to register your own vehicle to get the chance to win one of the following awards:

• Best float

• Best old car

• Best Kid costumes

• Best band

• Peoples Choice Award (a new award that will allow the parade goers to chose there favourite float, they will be given a code on the day of the parade to vote online for their favourite float, the entry with the most votes takes home the Peoples Choice Award)
