It’s that time of year again!
Join us for our 5th Annual Beaubears Sugarbush, a beloved spring tradition in Miramichi that celebrates Canadian maple heritage, community, and culture. This family-friendly event invites locals and tourists alike to gather and enjoy the sights, smells, and tastes of spring on the river!
The Beaubears Sugarbush is taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1PM to 4PM, with a special Newcomer Hour pre-opening at 12PM, welcoming all newcomers to Canada free of charge. Admission is by donation at the Beaubears Island Interpretive Centre at Bicentennial Park, 35 St. Patrick’s Drive, Miramichi.
Guests can enjoy a full afternoon of classic Sugarbush favourites including maple taffy on snow, homemade maple fudge, traditional baked beans, hot beverages, kids’ games, and engaging historical interpretation! The event highlights the importance of maple syrup production in Canadian history and offers hands-on experiences that connect generations through shared traditions!
