City and IAFF Local 5087 sign Collective Agreement

City of Miramichi Mayor Adam Lordon and International Association of Firefighters Local 5087 President Jason Brennan were joined by City Clerk Rhonda Ripley and IAFF Local 5087 executive secretary Corey Shaddick for the signing of the agreement.

Following the ratification of the collective agreement between the City of Miramichi and International Association of Firefighters Local 5087 on April 1st, 2025, it was officially signed on April 29th, 2025.

Mayor Adam Lordon and IAFF Local 5087 President Jason Brennan signed the four year agreement which covers the period of January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2028.

Local 5087 members will see annual wage adjustments of 8.75 per cent for year 1, 7.75 per cent for year 2, 4.5 per cent for year 3 and, 3 per cent for year 4.

Local 5087 voted to ratify the tentative agreement on March 26, 2025.
